Physicochemical Properties

Boiling Point Range: Its boiling point range is between 196 - 225°C, which makes it very useful in high-temperature reactions or processes that require solvents with higher boiling points. This relatively high boiling point helps reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is beneficial for environmental protection.

Production Process
- DBE is usually produced by esterification reaction of the corresponding dibasic acids (succinic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid) with methanol under the action of a catalyst.
